An Oige News: Dublin for Groups!
Unsurprisingly Dublin International Hostel is probably the most popular hostel out of all the 27 An Óige hostels-it's definitely one of the busiest!
The 4 star Dublin Hostel is located just minutes walk from O’Connell St and Dublin city centre and is very accessible by public transport. Buses go to and from the airport regularly and are but a short walk from the hostel.
The Dublin Hostel itself is a 282 bed hostel with single, twin, double, triple, 4 bed, 6 bed and 8-10 bed rooms, some of which are en-suite. There is a free continental breakfast for each guest and sheet hire is included in all rates.
The Dublin International Hostel is a great base for all, whether you are a school group, a family or just a group of friends looking to discover Ireland’s capital city. All you need to do is contact the An Óige dedicated groups department on groups@anoige.ie and they will be happy to help! They are here to help take the hassle out of everything so you can enjoy your trip.
If you require any meals, these can be looked after in the restaurant dedicated to groups and if you need a packed lunch any day it will be taken care of! The groups department can also book you into some of the most popular tourist attractions in Dublin-the Guinness Storehouse and the Dublin City Hop on Hop Off open top bus tour for example. Airport transfers can also be taken care of. The Dublin hostel has a conference room and a meeting room, a TV room, self catering kitchen, and a restaurant specifically for groups!
The Dublin Hostel is also the only hostel in Dublin to have been HI-Q certified which means that by receiving this award Dublin International Hostel has proven to be an outstanding example of quality excellence. The Dublin Hostel staff have gone through 6 months of intensive learning and improvement stages.
