The Discover Ireland and the Welcome to Ireland packages that we offer will take you on a 7 or 9 night trip around Ireland, from Dublin, to Cork to Killarney to Sixmilebridge in Co Clare if you choose the 7 night Welcome to Ireland package. If you choose the 9 night package you will get to see the above places and from Sixmilebridge you will travel to Galway for 2 extra nights. We can also provide transport as part of this package to make things a little easier for you-we have thought of everything!

To give you an idea on what the package includes please see below for a sample itinerary of the Discover Ireland package. The Welcome to Ireland package differs slightly-there are 2 nights in the Cork International Hostel and your last night is in Jamaica Inn.
Schedule
Day 1:
* Welcome to Dublin, the capital city of Ireland. Check into Dublin International Hostel and receive a Welcome Pack from reception.
* Explore Dublin with the Hop On Hop Off Tour. With more than 20 stops at Dublin’s top visitor attractions, you have 24 hours to use this ticket at your own leisure. Package includes entry to Guinness Storehouse – Dublin’s number 1 visitor attraction. Spend the afternoon here and take the incredible journey through the history and making of the world famous beer. Enjoy your free pint of Guinness in their famous Gravity bar whilst sampling views of the city with their 360 degree views of Dublin city.
* Overnight in Dublin International Hostel
Day 2:
* Start the day with a Continental Breakfast in the old nun’s chapel of our hostel!
* After breakfast enjoy the day at your leisure with visits to O’Connell and Grafton Street for some shopping. Pay a visit to some of the cafes or art shops and galleries in a thriving Temple Bar or relax and unwind in St Stephens Green, Phoenix Park or the Gardens of Remembrance.
* Wind down at your own leisure!
* Overnight in Dublin International Hostel.
Day 3:
* Continental Breakfast at the hostel.
* Walk down O’Connell Street to Bus Eireann where you will get a bus South to Ireland’s second city, Cork.
* Check into the Cork International hostel
* Walk across the road to University College Cork where the Cork City Tour will pick you up from this stop. This tour allows you to hop on and off around the city at any time and is valid all day. Bus stops at Cork City Gaol where you take a step back in time to see what 19th/early 20th Century life was like in Cork - inside and outside prison walls. Amazingly lifelike figures, furnished cells, sound effects and exhibitions make this a fascinating experience.
* Get back on the Cork City Tour and use it at your leisure to discover Cork’s treasures including the City Library, St. Finbarr’s Cathedral and the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery.
* Overnight at Cork International Hostel.
Day 4:
* Take a Bus Eireann bus from the City to Killarney, Co. Kerry.
* Make your way to Killarney International Hostel. Set in 75 acres of lawns and forests, this hostel overlooks Killarney’s National Park where Sika and Red Deer roam the land.
* Killarney is a lively hub of activity, with many restaurants, pubs, discos, along with outlets for renting bikes, cars and the famous jaunting cars.
Tours of the “Ring”, Gap of Dunloe and Dingle Peninsula depart daily from the hostel.
* Spend the evening in one of Killarney’s great restaurants and enjoy the atmosphere in one of its traditional pubs.
* Overnight at Killarney International Hostel
Day 5:
* Spend the day at your will. Bicycles can be rented from the hostel for aaprox €14.00 for the day. If you’re not into this, why not enjoy some horse riding at the Killarney Riding Stables or a visit to St. Mary’s Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Kerry.
* Overnight at Killarney International Hostel
Day 6:
* Take a Bus Eireann bus from Killarney to Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare.
Please note there are no buses on a Sunday from Shannon Airport to the hostel. If arriving on this day the guest will need to take a taxi. The airport is located 14km from the hostel.
* Check into Jamaica Inn, Sixmilebridge Hostel
* Spend the afternoon exploring the area. Within 8km of the hostel is Bunratty Castle Folk Park, the East Clare Walking route and Cragganowen Celtic Village. A little further away is the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher and dolphin watching.
* Evening at your leisure.
Day 7:
*Take a Bus Eireann bus from Sixmilebridge to Galway City.
No buses on a Sunday from the hostel to Shannon Airport. If departing on a Sunday the guest will need to take a taxi to Shannon Airport (14km) and get a bus there to Galway
* Check into Sleepzone Hostel, Galway City.
* Spend the afternoon at your leisure in this lively city, the home of the Claddagh ring.
* Overnight at Sleepzone Hostel.
Day 8:
* Make your way to make your way to Kinlay House Hostel on Merchants Road, Galway for 09.45am sharp.
* O’Neachtain Tours will take you for the day on a coach tour around Connemara. This tour includes the most interesting aspects of Connemara to enable you to get the best possible view and knowledge of the changes which have occurred over the centuries. Stops include Spiddal, the Quietman Cottage, the Twelve Bens and Clifden.
* Arrive back to Galway at 5pm.
* Overnight at Sleepzone Hostel.
Day 9:
* Take a Bus Eireann bus from Galway City to Dublin.
* Check into Dublin International Hostel.
* Spend your last day at your leisure in Ireland’s capital city. Friendly and knowledgeable staff at the hostel will fill you in on what best way to spend your last day in Dublin!
* Overnight at Dublin International Hostel.
