Armagh, which is known as both 'The City of St Patrick' and 'Ireland's
Christian Capital', is the perfect base for a cultural break. With
two of St Patrick's cathedrals, a variety of visitors centres, Irelands
only planetarium, a state of the art theatre and arts centre, and
miles upon miles of apple orchards, Armagh really is a city of diversity.
Armagh City Youth Hostel stands adjacent to St Patrick's Church
of Ireland Cathedral, in an area which is steeped in history. This
Youth Hostel opened in 1998, and offers accommodation which you
would expect in a brand new facility. The relaxed atmosphere in
the Youth Hostel makes everyone feel welcome, whether they have
travelled from Northern Ireland, or from the opposite end of the
earth!
