Our largest youth hostel is situated between Belfast’s cosmopolitan and historic city centre and the lively University Quarter.

Perfect for independent travellers and groups, it offers excellent value accommodation within walking distance of the city’s main shopping areas and transport links, buzzing nightlife, theatres and cultural tours, top restaurants, pubs and cafes.

Following an extension and renovation in 2005, Belfast International now offers both ensuite and standard bedrooms in a variety of sizes, Internet access, the Causeway Cafe, a secure free car park and excellent self catering facilities. The hostel is open all year round, making it the perfect location for your visit to Belfast.

The Two Day Tour of Belfast, Causeway Coast and Derry will start in April 2010 and depart every Wednesday from the hostel.

Opening Times: The hostel is open daily 365 days a year and no curfew operates. 

The Causeway Cafe

This is the ideal place to spend a relaxing breakfast. It is open 7 days a week and has an extensive menu featuring local Irish food as well as favourites from around the world. The Causeway Café is open from 7.50am to 11.00am Monday through to Saturday and 7.50am to 11.30am on Sundays.

Also available for group bookings of 8 or more people – Breakfast, Lunch and Full Dinner Menu.

We pride ourselves in offering the best quality food at prices to suit the budget traveller, up to 60% cheaper than any equivalent café. We also pride ourselves in offering a delicious range of freshly made Antica Brand coffees, Organic Teapigs teas and Italian hot chocolates. All our food is cooked to order to ensure it arrives with you hot and fresh.
