In June 2013, newly renovated Armagh City Youth Hostel became an affiliated hostel to Hostelling International NI. It is located in the heart of the Armagh City, offering high quality accommodation with 56 beds. Conveniently located in Armagh City Centre, adjacent to Saint Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral, the hostel provides the ideal location to explore the Ancient Cathedral City of Armagh.
This affiliated Youth Hostel offers a range of multi-share and private rooms, all with showering facilities. The Youth Hostel has a spacious common area, as well as a self-catering kitchen which guests can make use of during their stay.
All the main city attractions are within a comfortable walking distance including two impressive cathedrals of St Patrick. Armagh City has a lot to offer all age groups and interests including the world renowned Armagh Planetarium, Armagh County Museum, the Mall, the Market Place Theatre hosting an exciting and varied programme of arts and cultural events, a state of the art cinema and a selection of boutiques, shops and weekly Shambles market to keep the avid shopper happy.
