Take the Giants Causeway Day Tour - the best way to explore Northern Ireland’s majestic North Antrim Coast and then relax and enjoy ensuite accommodation in an award winning youth hostel in Bushmills village, famous for its Irish whiskey.
The coach tour departs Belfast International Youth Hostel at 9.45am, following
the coastal route and stopping off at the impressive Carrickfergus Castle before travelling onward to the main highlight of the tour - the Giants Causeway, Irelands only world heritage site. There you can climb over the ancient polygonal stone columns and explore this designated area of outstanding natural beauty before making a retreat to one of the tempting cafes or restaurants at the Causeway for lunch.
After re-fuelling you will re-board the luxury coach and move on to the ancient ruins of Dunluce Castle and its stunning coastal scenery for a quick photo stop before travelling on to Ireland’s oldest working distillery in Bushmills. This is where Bushmills Irish Whiskey is made and you can browse in the extensive gift shop or make a visit to the bar and have a swift taste or two of the famous tipple!
The next stop of the day is the exhilarating Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge with its 30-metre deep and 20-metre wide chasm! Visitors brave enough can take on the challenge and make the terrifying trip across the bridge to rocky Carrick-a-Rede island and check out the stunning views across to Rathlin Island and Scotland.
The coach will then take you back to Mill Rest Youth Hostel in Bushmills (approx 4.30pm) where you can relax after an exciting day of sightseeing. Here you can enjoy 1 night ensuite accommodation at this award winning youth hostel for the discounted price of £16 per person which can be paid at the hostel when you arrive.
