ABOUT HINI
Hostelling International Northern Ireland (HINI), formerly known as the Youth Hostel Association of Northern Ireland (YHANI), is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1931. We operate five budget youth hostels across Northern Ireland: in Belfast, Bushmills, Armagh and Whitepark Bay.
HINI is part of the worldwide network of over 4,000 youth hostels in 90 countries, known as Hostelling International (HI) in some places or Youth Hostel Association (YHA) in others.
Membership of HINI is your passport to all youth hostels within this network and entitles you to thousands of benefits and discounted overnight stays. Our hostels comply with Hostelling International’s brand standards, assuring travellers get clean, safe, comfortable and affordable accommodation with a friendly welcome.
As an organisation HINI aims to give people of all ages from all over the world, especially those of limited means, the opportunity to experience, appreciate and gain a wider understanding of Northern Ireland, by providing affordable accommodation for them on their travels.
