ABOUT HINI
Hostelling International Northern Ireland (HINI), formerly known as the Youth Hostel Association of Northern Ireland (YHANI), is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1931. We operate six budget youth hostels across Northern Ireland: in Belfast, Bushmills, Armagh, Newcastle, Whitepark Bay and Enniskillen.
HINI is part of the worldwide network of over 4,000 youth hostels in over 80 countries, known as Hostelling International (HI). Membership of HINI is your passport to all youth hostels within this network and entitles you to thousands of benefits and discounts. Our hostels comply with Hostelling International’s brand standards, assuring travellers get clean, safe, comfortable and affordable accommodation with a friendly welcome.
As an organisation, HINI aims to give young people from all over the world, especially those of limited means, the opportunity to experience, appreciate and gain a wider understanding of the Northern Irish countryside, by providing affordable accommodation for them on their travels.
